UW · FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I request underwater operations vs dry docking?

Underwater ops are suitable for hull inspections, propeller polishing, anode replacement, sea chest cleaning, and minor repairs. If the scope requires extensive structural work, dry dock is recommended.

Are your dive teams IMCA-certified?

Yes. We mobilise IMCA-aligned dive teams with current certifications, dive plans, and risk assessments for each operation.

Can underwater inspections replace a dry dock survey?

In-water surveys (IWS) can fulfil certain class survey requirements without dry docking. We coordinate with your class society to confirm IWS applicability to your vessel.
